I'm trying to decide between a GSXR-750 or an R-6. I am a Yamaha loyalist and loved my last bike, the YZF600R. I want something just as comfortable, a little lighter for the pop-ups and indos, just as easy to mod with an undertail, flushmounts, etc., and something that get's great gas mileage. For the record, Suzuki was stupid to put the turn signals on the rear views. What is a person like me to do who literally rips off those stupid bunny ears the day he buys a bike...
What kind of gas mileage does the 2008 GSXR-750 get? What about the 2008 R-6?
The 750 gets around 45 mpg if you are riding on highways at good cruising speeds.
The R-6 is also just under 50 mpg under normal riding conditions.
